Our client in Dunwoody is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their growing team!
Direct-Hire, Permanent
Location: Dunwoody, GA
Salary: $45,000-48,000 with Bonus
They are working a Hybrid Schedule (3 Days in Office/2 Days WFH) After the first 90 days of training in-office
Provides the main point of contact for all shipping from clients. Responsible for the tracking of a shipment from the time it is booked until it is delivered and for dealing with customers’ questions and information needs during that part of the shipping process.
Essential Functions:
- Creates bookings and accurately assigns rates
- Identifies the route that will move containers from the beginning to the ending location
- Works with the Equipment Department to determine equipment availability
- Ensures that any and all documentation required for a shipment is received in a timely manner
- Updates bookings when necessary and notifies all affected parties of changes
- Addresses customer problems
- Communicates rate agreement issues to the Sales department for resolution
- Works directly with Account Executives to assure specific customers’ accounts are handled appropriately
- Coordinates with terminal operations to assure efficient and effective handling of shipments
- Corresponds with world-wide offices to track shipments
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree required
- Strong Customer Service background or Logistics experience preferred
- Great Communication Skills and Attention to Detail
